Patrick Topping has rapidly risen through the ranks to become one of most in-demand DJs on the planet. From his breakthrough releases on Jamie Jones Hot Creations to his own new label TRIKK, he’s both a talented DJ and Producer and an all-round incredible artist.
“I never imagined I’d be where I am today. That being said I’m hoping to keep pushing on as much as I can, while also enjoying what’s already going on.”
With his signature green mohawk and sunglasses, they quite simply do not come more legendary than the one and only Green Velvet. From his alter ego Cajmere and his 1992 release Percolator, Green Velvet has evolved through his ‘Velvet Tracks’ to ‘Whatever’ and ‘La La Land’ and many many more classic cuts that to this very day are present in every discerning DJs record box.
Clearly, Green Velvet’s mastery of dance music’s various forms allows him to perpetuate a space ahead of the curve.
“I plan on developing a lot more younger artists, as well as working with the veterans. You can definitely expect another 20 years if the Man Upstairs has it in his iCal.”
Jennifer Cardini made a name for herself in the Parisian club Pulp back in the 1990s and has since then steadily grown immensely. From claiming her own residency, launching her own party night and to creating and running her own label, Correspondent, it is no wonder that Cardini is one of the most respected female DJ’s out there.
“I would never have guessed I would be living from it and play in front of thousands of people.”
25-year old Australian born Jordan Alexander, Mall Grab, is breaking all kinds of moulds on his rapid rise to recognition in the house and techno scene. With big support from artists across the board such as George Fitzgerald and Four Tet to his latest EP that has just been released earlier this month, it is no wonder Mall Grab has become so successful in such a short period of time.
“I don’t think I’ll ever get sick of it!”
Mella Dee’s early musical influences originated from the sounds coming out of warehouses in and around his stomping ground in South Yorkshire. His huge 2017 release, Techno Disco Tool, propelled him into the limelight and since then he continues to take the world by storm.
“I just want to keep making the best music I can make, just grow as much as I can as an artist. I want to play with people, whose music I personally like and I want to hear what they’re playing.”
Hailing from Stirling, Griff is one of Scotland’s freshest young emerging talents and shall be opening The Terminal stage this April. Signed to Doorly’s Reptile Dysfunction label and making a name for himself on Ibiza the last few years, Griff continues to make serious waves.
“Disco made me do it.”
A very Special B2B
