Bursting onto the scene with 2009’s Hyph Mngo, Joy Orbison has gone from strength to strength in recent years, spearheading a generation of producers merging diverse elements from dubstep, house and garage to devastating effect. With a host of acclaimed releases for the likes of Hotflush, AUS and Doldrums, the production alias of Peter O’Grady has quickly become one of the most respected names around and is turning his head to Edinburgh for a special in the Nightvision Presents series.

Joining him is his long-term collaborator and touring partner, Boddika, who together will merge their melodic sounds of distinctively deep beats and dead-eyed bassline rhythms to the delight of many in the Scottish capital. Seemingly showing no signs of slowing down, the Joy O/Boddika explosion is a force not to be reckoned with as they take their duo set around the world and we can’t wait to welcome them to the city. Despite the duo success, both have continued on their own, very successful missions to never sit still and both continue to drive forward crafting completely unique productions.

Making up the trio will be Levon Vincent, who promises to never disappoint with his Berlin and New York infused influences. Having been introduced to DJing as a teenager in the 80’s, Vincent has never looked back and has been turning the tables ever since with his East Coast born house music. Going on to found Deconstruct with Antony Parasole, along with his own label Novel Sound, his raw sound of dubbed-out beats soon went on to find an audience in scene vetrans Craig Richards and Berghain’s Marcel Dettmann, cementing his own place in the industry.

With support from local talent Belch and Room 2 hosted by Hector’s House Presents, this is going to be one serious night of quality music!
