Richie Hawtin

From his Plastikman embodiment in the early ’90s, working closely with the Cocoon family in Ibiza and lecturing American universities about electronic music, it is no wonder that Canadian born Richie Hawtin is one of, if not, the biggest techno act on the planet. This will be Hawtin’s first set in Edinburgh in 18 years, definitely not something you’ll want to miss.

“I’m just going to perform and what you’re seeing is what’s happening… And hopefully what you’re seeing and what you’re hearing is twisting your brain inside out.”

Maceo Plex

From landing his first DJ set at the age of 16 in Texas, Maceo Plex is unequivocally one of the most hardworking electronic artists in the game with the ability to balance melody, electro and techno with ease. This will not only be Maceo Plex’s first time in Edinburgh in over six years but his biggest Scottish show to date. With a huge release back catalogue and playing international sets in over 40 different countries, he’s not slowing down anytime soon.

“The good thing is I spent my whole entire twenties as a nerd, making music. So it wasn’t until my thirties that I even really knew how to party and wanted to make dance music and make people dance.”

Chris Liebing

Chris Liebing’s skill set spans from a world-renowned DJ to a producer, radio host and the driving force behind CLR and Spinclub Recordings. With over 20 years of experience in the techno scene he is consistently upping his game and with his latest album released at the end of last year, Burn Slow, Liebing is still one of the most in-demand DJ’s in the world.

“I am absolutely not leaving this techno planet. I love techno more than ever.”

Nastia

From growing up in a small village in the east of Ukraine to performing international sets across the world, Nastia has shown us all that if you love something, you can transform it into your passion and create an unbelievably successful career.

“My aim is to see as many people as possible on the dancefloor and to dance with them, leading the mood with what unites us all – music.  I am what I do.”

Helena Hauff

After only wanting to play in a little bar around the corner in her German home town, Helena never could have imagined where she would end up. Hauff is the figurehead for a noisy, neo-gothic imperative in techno that triangulates perfectly between acid house energy and industrial harshness.

“UK crowds are so rowdy, I like that a lot.”

Kobosil

By 22 years old, Kobosil had released his first track Silo and launched his own label RK3. Since then he has landed a place as one of Berghain’s residents, toured internationally and has firmly established himself as one of Europes shining techno artists.

“I want to be a DJ and live act with a wide production catalogue that is both artistic and sounds great in a club.”

Frazier

Frazier is the alias of rising Motherwell based techno DJ Fraser Stuart. After being tipped as an act to watch out for by Mixmag, releasing his debut album and with a release on Carl Cox’s INTEC label in 2018, it’s no wonder the likes of Pan-Pot and Sam Paganini are big fans.

“At Terminal V there is always a perfect balance between underground techno & music suited for a big capacity which is essential I think!”
